About This Web Site

The Longfellow Creek Web site has but one purpose:

"Document the on-going efforts to save
and restore  an urban creek..."

This Web site is maintained by individuals in the community near the creek and is not an "official" resource paid for by any government agency. This site contains  information that relates to the various activities surrounding Longfellow Creek.  All individuals and groups working on preservation and restoration of the Longfellow Creek Watershed are welcome to submit material for inclusion.

If you have information about creek related activities that you would like to add, contact me.  If your activities warrant a separate section that does not fit into the main site format then I will work with you to develop an area that meets your needs.  The Cooper Elementary School Poetry Project section is one example of that approach.   The format of the material in the "Longfellow Creek Poetry Project" was not a good fit for the "news" style format of the main site so an entirely separate sub-site was created.

All material submitted will be fully credited to the source.   The Web Curators only role is to facilitate posting the information on the Web. If you are involved with Longfellow Creek and would like to get information about your activities on the Web, please contact me.  I maintain this site without benefit of tax dollars as a voluntary contribution to the community.
